new green wish and equinox

I wish my school would get more involved in green activities, such as conserving energy and saving water.

an equinox is when the sun is vertically above the equator. Its a period of time when the whole world has exactly 12 hours of day and 12 hours of night. The equinox occurs once in the spring time and once in the fall. After the equinox in the fall, the days start to get shorter while the nights get longer. After the equinox in the spring the days get longer while the nights get shorter. The spring equinox occurs on March 20/21 and the fall equinox occurs on September 22/23.

I wish my school would use less paper by using the computers and internet for more assignments

I read the story about the kids who cleaned up the graffiti in their town. It really made a huge difference because it made their town look so much cleaner. I also read the story about finding new animal and plant species. I want to help my group clean up the Grand River. It will make our town so much cleaner and it will also help bring us one step closer to protecting and saving the earth.
